SPACES Virtual Working Group Meeting

This page is the entry point for the SPACES Virtual Working Group Meeting that runs for 4 weeks from the 1 - 29 August 2006. The event is a closed on-line meeting for members of the SPACES Working Group and associates. It makes use of USER's basin asynchronous web-conferencing system.

Purpose

(1) To discuss and assess insights from the case studies, other working papers and the background reviews with specific aim of helping outline the group's final report to be presented and debated at the dialogue event in 23-27 Jan 07.

(2) To discuss the content and form of the final reports, follow-up plans for publication of case studies in book form and organization of the dialogue event and next working group meeting.

Agenda

WK 1 (1-6 AUG) : PRODUCTION-CONSUMPTION SYSTEMS

Discuss the case study working papers and the background review on "Concepts" .

WK 2(7-13 AUG) : LINKING KNOWLEDGE AND ACTION

Discuss the case study working papers and the background review on "Linking".

WK 3(14-20 AUG) : SPACES REPORT

Discuss the main findings and key messages to be put highlighted in the SPACES report based on all sources.

WK 4 (21-31 AUG) : DIALOGUE EVENT and FOLLOW-UP

Agree on work plan to complete report, discuss draft dialogue event plan and proposal for an edited book.

WK5 (1 - 8 SEP ): POST CONFERENCE

Reflections, commentaries and evaluation of meeting.
